Eden Quality price advantage!
This Eden Quality knife is produced by a manufacturer that fabricates as well for trusted trade marks. This price advantage without a brand and distributor in the marketing chain is yours!

Dishwasher safe?
Eden Quality VG10 knives are as dishwasher safe as all the other kitchen knives. An Incidental dishwasher wash-up isn’t harmful, but frequent influence of dishwasher chemicals can damage hardened steel and plastics. This can result in rust spots on the blade and an affected handle. Also, the handles may become loose.
Therefore we don’t claim that our knives are dishwasher safe! Fortunately we are not the only ones. But there are brands who claim it because of the marketing advantages.

This was the bacon slicing knife/carver, but alas its so good i took it up with me to the North on holiday in order to cook (why use someone elses blunt knives and make a chore of what can be a joy?) and left it there. My father keeps asking after it, I will get it back in time no doubt but not yet. However, it was very very good, chopping meat excellent. You don't really need this and the chef's knife, but hey... I want to try the carver knife to see it slither thru fine roast chicken (which can often crumble and shred with less sharp knives). This one is perhaps a bit heavy for that. Great knife though.

NB. I give it a 9 because I've worked out there are some knives out there with *slightly* harder edges, and these will be able to hold fractionally sharper edges. So it's almost the top of the game. But it's so far above anything I've used over a period of time that it get's the top bar one grade overall.

Price vs quality, top of the game no question. It's cos it's own brand as they say. Try and get a knife like it for the price and you'll realise why it's a deal. Totally met my expectation. I was hoping for a different league of knife that would endure as such, and not just go blunt...

You get a good piece for his money. The cut is a bit dull. I will probably rework shortly. Also, it feels a bit heavy. But that's bitching at a high level. Here you get very good quality for the money.

This knife purchased together with other knives from the series, creating a huge discount. We now use a month. The price / quality ratio is very high. Compared with cheap knife blade is sharp out of the package, ready to use, and will long remain sharp. Who wants sharp knives should just like to work to grind your own corner.

The Eden Classic Santoku Knife VG-10 I bought out of interest, and then further away, because it did not quite meet my requirements for a Santoku. The value for money is great and also the steel quality is good. For me, the only drawback of this knife series that the blades are not sufficient ground out thin. (What you can catch yourself a lot of effort.) That might also explain the low price and is for people who appreciate very robust blades even be an advantage. In addition to the robustness, but you have to live with the disadvantage of a relatively heavy blade. Is not necessarily an indicator of delicate female hands. The cut was, as with all of my knives purchased from this series according to the price. But after half an hour on the grinding stones and a new main ground (2x15 degrees) I had a wonderful kitchen knife and a gift from me.

The knife was not really keen on delivery, but was given the super blade steel VG10 with a little grinding in no time at Rasierschärfe. The knife is very good in the hand, makes a competent job. Processing also seems very useful. For the price absolute buy recommendation.

The Santoku knife had a slight miss cut (some tiny eruptions in the blade) what a normal user would probably not see or notice when in use, by using the knife and with eg with a ceramic rod regrinding sure unrecoverable. I fixed it on my water stones.

Order arrived promptly. First visual inspection was positive. Properly processed. Is massive and "built to last". Small deviations in the processing are there, but honestly for the price you wanted in order. Wonder what you'd expect not. What annoyed me is that the knife out of the box are anything but sharp. Even with a simple paper cutting test they fail completely. This is not a problem for me. I simply reground and fix yourself a Schnellbehnadlung with the Spyderco sharpener has brought good results. annoying but that I have the knife also recommended a friend and I ordered for him. Which is now so not happy because he a good piece must return to me first so I can sharpen it for him. Ergo, the purchase was a total fine. But that was not super happy. The previous rather euphoric reviews I can not understand or acknowledge. Solid knife that needed before the first use of rework.

Missed in my Jamie Oliver set a santoku knife. Given my previous positive experience with Eden Utilitymes chosen Eden Classic. Excellent knife, so good that I'm going to save the whole series and my Jamie Oliver set going to replace! Have now also the office knife and that is much better! Compliments! The overall rating is 9 because I expect / hope that there might be better knives?

This VG10 ((CORE)) Santoku purchased because of the price, was on sale and have to say that it was out of the box quite sharp but not razor sharp, taken over the Naniwa 3000/5000 and then over the sling, so very sharp, like some torture testing done on cardboard, tomato and onion and then a newspaper, the new polished edge kept reasonable sharpness. The price quality is good despite the obviously made in China, and in terms of forging and grinding technique is inferior to a Japanese knife instance Shirogami White # 1 or Aogami Blue # 1 steel and a hardness of 62/64 HRC. This knife is not to compare with my handmade Japanese Tadafusa Japanese knives. en, but there is also a huge price difference between natural. Overall a good knife for 20 euro (in the deal) and certainly for the hobby cook a recommend, shipping and packaging a + K & T.
