The GiantMouse ACE Nimbus is a cool and solid work horse, designed by Jens Ansø and Jesper Voxnaes. The Nimbus got its name from the Nimbus motorcycle. A design that was produced in between 1919 and 1960. Another true work horse, designed to never give up. That is exactly also what the GiantMouse ACE Nimbus excels is good at!
The modern, Danish design almost feels futuristic. And yet the blade was inspired by the traditional, Scandinavian Puukko knife. A functional knife that was used for hundreds of years in the high North.
The ACE Nimbus is, in terms of size, a nice mid-size pocket knife. A blade length of 7.7 cm is for practically everybody enough to carry out daily tasks. The G10 handle perfectly fills the hand. Curves in just the right places make this knife an ergonomic masterpiece.
To make sure you don’t have to sharpen this knife that often GiantMouse chose an incredibly good type of steel: Böhler M390, an extremely stainless type of steel from Austria. M390 retains its sharpness well and it is, with the right tools, also relatively easy to sharpen yourself. Opening this blade is easy with the thumb hole. The ball bearings make sure that the knife will open and close smoothly.
GiantMouse ACE-line
The GiantMouse ACE-line was developed to meet the ever growing demand for GiantMouse knives. After a couple of limited edition knives that were sold out in the blink of an eye the demand continued to grow. Hence the ACE-collection. Designs with the same cool style, with the same premium type of steel, but more accessible to all!
