The **Hultafors Overstrike Guard** protects the axe handle from damage. Usually, when you're using an axe, the wooden handle can become damaged from getting into contact with branches or blocks of wood. Now you can keep your handle safe with the Hultafors Overstrike Guard!

The Overstrike Guard is made in Sweden from leather of Swedish cows. It is manufactured with the utmost care for animals and the environment. This leather is vegetable-tanned full-grain leather for the best possible durability. The natural treatment ensures that it will age beautifully with use.

The Overstrike Guard is compatible with the following Premium axes: Ågelsjön, Hultån, Åby, Dvardala, Ekelund and Qvarfot.

De mon avis de novice, indispensable pour éviter d'abîmer le manche... Surtout quand c'est la première fois qu'on fend de la bûche.
Cependant, il ne faut pas s'attendre à ce que le manche soit entièrement protégé. Je pense que c'est une protection surtout utile pour les petites erreurs de frappe.

Ist qualitativ mit dem Schutz von Gränsfors vergleichbar.  Relativ weiches, nicht sehr dickes Leder, saubere Verarbeitung. Nicht so haltbar wie das entsprechende Produkt von Helko Werk, dafür aber auch die Hälfte billiger. 

Insgesamt ein lohnender Kauf, wenn man sich z.B. das neue Dvardala -Beil anschafft, zu dessen Klingenschutz es dann auch optisch passt.
