The **Ledlenser HF8R Work** is a seriously great head torch for everyday use at home or at work. This torch steals the show with its aluminium housing, range of light modes, red light and excellent colour rendering at a short distance. But the one thing that really sets this torch apart is the patented Digital Advanced Focus System, which lets you adjust the HF8R almost infinitely to the desired brightness and light beam. The focus wheel makes this a piece of cake. 

You can even connect to the torch with Bluetooth, to adjust the brightness from a distance using the Ledlenser connect app. Multiple light modes are available via this app.

The difference between the Ledlenser Work and the Ledlenser Core is that the Ledlenser Work has a warmer colour temperature of 5000K compared to the 5700K of the Ledlenser Core. 

## Light modes for the Ledlenser HF8R

  * Boost: 1600 lumens - beam reach of 210 metres
  * High: 900 lumens - burn time of approx. 3 hours and 30 minutes - beam reach of 200 metres
  * Medium: 300 lumens - burn time of approx. 10 hours - beam reach of 100 metres
  * Low: 20 lumens - burn time of approx 90 hours - beam range 25 metres
  * Red light. 

## How to use the Ledlenser HF8R

You control the head torch with the push button on the top and the wheel on the bottom. Use the wheel at the bottom to switch between different light beams. If you press the push button you'll switch between different light modes. Click the button twice to turn on the highest light mode. Hold the button down longer to turn on the red light. This will preserve your night vision. 

The head torch is tiltable, so you can aim the beam where you need it. You can keep an eye on your battery with the battery indicator. With a magnetic charging system, the torch takes 270 minutes to fully charge. The head torch can be used in harsh weather conditions from -20 to +40 degrees Celsius. Rated IP68, the torch is completely waterproof.
