The Maserin Pitbull is a large pocket knife that can be used for tactical purposes. However, you can, of course, also use the Pitbull when you want to spice up your EDC-rotation.
The blade on the Maserin Pitbull is made from Böhler M390. Stainless, it maintains its sharpness and at the moment one of the most popular premium types of steel. Because of the stonewashed finish you will barely see any traces of usage. And that is great because this knife is practically begging you to be used.
Maserin decided to use aluminium for the handle. The two parts are attached with an integrated back spacer. The aluminium handle has been enhanced with a steel liner on one side that takes care of the lock. In addition, ball bearings have been added around the pivot to make sure that opening the knife while using the flipper occurs quickly and smoothly.
The back of the handle has been enhanced with a glass breaker. In case of emergencies you can easily crack a car window. This glass breaker also serves as a screw to keep the pocket clip in place. An added bonus is that Maserin provides this clip. However, if you happen to get stuck behind something bending the clip you can easily replace it by a new one. If you cannot bend it back that is. An additional tool is provided for you to disassemble the pocket clip.
To take your Pitbull with you wherever you go Maserin has included, not a belt, but a nylon belt sheath which is also MOLLE-compatible.
Maserin creates great knives for great prices. True craftsmanship, something you can sometimes find traces of. It is simply a part of the charm of this stunning pocket knife.
