The Nitecore NU10 is a lightweight, rechargeable head torch. It's ideal for a variety of applications; from odd jobs in and around the house, to running and outdoor activities. As well as 160 lumens of white light, the NU10 also has the option of a 13 lumen red light. This red light is great if you want to read a map in the dark, because it doesn't affect your night vision.
The Nitecore NU10 gets its power from the built-in 900mAh Li-ion battery. This battery can be recharged with the included micro-USB cable. With this cable, any free USB port can be used as a charging station. There is a battery indicator in one of the pressure switches on top of the head torch. It is a small LED that shows you the current battery voltage. It also displays the charging status during charging. A unique feature of the NU10 is that you can even use it while it's charging. It's ideal as an extra light in your tent, for example when you're charging the head torch on a power bank. The casing is waterproof and meets the IP66 standard. This doesn't mean you can use it underwater, though! However, a heavy rain shower or some sweat while working out won't be a problem.
With a maximum burn time of 7 hours on the highest mode, the Nitecore NU10 has a lot of endurance. Especially when you consider its light weight of only 70 grams (including head band).
