Opinel 001442, pocket knife No. 07, baroudeur
Full description
The Opinel Pocket knife with wooden handle in a cheerful color. Originally created by Joseph Opinel in 1890 for use by farmers. The Opinel Pocket knife is a famous, yet very cheap pocket knife for everyday use. The blade of stainless steel is provided with the simple but effective Virobloc-locking. This is a ring, which can be pivoted around the hinge point. This causes blocking of the blade.

Love the bright colours of the Opinel, no squabbling over who's is who's! The wooden handle is smooth & shaped well to fit in the hand. The blade folds back into the handle for safe carrying and a metal swivel holds it in place when open. For a small knife this is perfect, safe to put in a pocket, well made and sharp enough for whittling. I would recommend.
