Last thing I need is another pocket knife but I'm glad I bought it. Beautiful blade, can't fault its construction or materials 

Vor diesem Messer besaß ich bereits das größere Gekko 1500 und nach diesem (dem 1550) ebenfalls das Gekko 1551. Alle 3 Messer wiesen die gleichen schwächen/Probleme auf: starkes Klingenspiel seitlich und dabei ein deutlich hörbares klackern , lautes Quietschen beim betätigen des Locks sowie beim öffnen und schließen des Messers, sowie das alle 3 Messer ab Werk das Gegenteil von leichtgängig wären, was sich mit der Zeit noch verschlimmerte bis zu dem Punkt das sich das Messer nicht mehr einhändig öffnen geschweige denn schließen ließ. Nur mit Einsatz von Schmiermittel/öl verbesserte sich dies etwas, lies sich aber nicht beheben. Ich weiß nicht wo all die positiven Reviews herkommen die anpreisen wie geschmeidig und solide der Folder ist. Für einen Preis von 170 EUR nicht akzeptabel und mit Sicherheit kein Zufall oder Einzelfall. Werde in Zukunft von Steel will Abstand halten, was sehr schade ist da mich das Messer vom Design und der Ergonomie her sehr anspricht, auch die augenscheinliche Verarbeitung des Messers, auch im inneren ist sehr gut, oder wirkt zumindest so.
