The **We Knife 717 Valiant** is an incredibly interesting pocket knife. Within the We Knife range the Valiant is one of the more compact models. In terms of length that is, because in terms of width and thickness it is still pretty solid. But that is not what makes it so interesting. The construction does.


When you closely look at this pocket knife you hardly come across any screws. On the presentation side you will merely find the pivot plate, enhanced with the WE logo. On the lock side you will only find the other side of the pivot and the screw that secures the lockbar insert. That’s it.


Until you look at the back of the handle. Here you can find another hidden screw. This screw keeps the two handles together with a u-shaped clamp. All in all an incredibly innovative and striking construction, in all its discretion.


The rest of the knife is, of course, also properly constructed. The blade is made from CPM S35VN steel. Stainless, retains its sharpness well and can easily be sharpened. You open it with the flipper and the framelock firmly keeps the blade in place. Ceramic ball bearings around the pivot and in front of the detent ball ensure that the blade will run smoothly for years to come. The sides of the handles have been enhanced with carbon fibre inlays. A incredibly stunning accent on such a remarkable knife. An great example of modern innovation in the pocket knife world. With We Knife on top.
