The **Zwilling Life cleaver 15 cm** is perfect when cutting through bones. In addition to meat this cleaver can also easily cut through hard vegetables. A cleaver is enhanced with a rectangular blade that is slightly thicker than a normal kitchen knife. It doesn't have to be as sharp because it is used to chop with. 


 The blade is made from ice-hardened steel. The result is the right hardness of the steel. The quality of the steel convinces with an optimal balance of chromium and carbon content. According to Zwilling this leaves you with the perfect mix between hardness, sharpness retention, ability to sharpen and resistance to chipping. 


The ergonomically shaped handle feels great in hand, even in large hands. The handle is relatively rough. As such it feels comfortable, even while wearing gloves or when your hands are wet. The handle is enhanced with the characterizing Zwilling logo.


The transition from the crop to the blade is seamless. This is ergonomically sound, but also great in terms of hygiene. However, we recommend cleaning the knives by hand. When you clean them in your dishwasher the blade and handle can wear out faster.
