The **BeaverCraft S49 Spoon Carving Set** is a set that enables you to cut your own spoons, spatulas and kuksas. With this set you own all tools you need to quickly get to work. Including a small knife for geometric wood carving. This set also contains a strop and stropping compound to make sure the knives stay razor-sharp.

## About the wood carving knives

The blade is made from fine carbon steel. Easy to sharpen and very tough. As such it will bend sooner than it will break, in case something goes wrong. Better safe than sorry! Keep in mind that carbon steel is not stainless. So don't store it while still wet. A couple drops of oil once in a while will make sure the blade stays in great shape.

## BeaverCraft handle

The handle is made from ash wood. A strong type of wood that is also used for axe handles. The ergonomics of all BeaverCraft tools is great. But the good thing about wood carving knives is that you can always modify the handle yourself. To make it your own!

Didn't have the time yet to test the tools properly, but the steel has a nice hardness and is sturdy enough.
I can't wait to pick a good piece of wood!

Ideale set! Handige opbergtas.  Het met het meegeleverde lederen lapje houdt je je mesjes ten alle tijden super scherp.

Mooie set, zeer scherp uit de doos met een handige opbergzak.

Wirklich Hammer Messer, simple Konstruktion, hält aber seit einigen Löffeln. Nur das kurze (Kerb?)messer hatte etwas stumpfe Ecken, aber für diesen Preis unschlagbar.

We measure the sharpening angle ourselves. This value is the angle per side.  So 20º means that the total angle of the edge is 40º. Please note that knives are almost always sharpened by hand, even in factories. This value is therefore only an indication of a single tool measured by us.
