The Benchmade 707 Sequel PE is designed by McHenry & Williams. This father and stepson created an ideal pocket knife for EDC-use (Every Day Carry). The knife is slim and compact and light in weight partially thanks to the routed liners. The thumb-supports make this knife to be suitable for right- and left-handed users. The extremely flexible working axis-lock locks the blade. Obviously the knife can be opened and closed with one hand. More than enough grip is provided for the daily use.   
  


The materials chosen for this pocket knife are extremely suitable for an EDC-knife. The handle is made of aluminium with a decorative inlay of G10 with a fine pattern. The blade with an almost spearpoint-shape is made of the high quality 154cm-steel. This steel can be easily sharpened while it still maintains its sharpness for a long time.

Sehr schönes Messer einziges Problem die Spitze war nicht 100% gleichmässig geschliffen. Wahrscheinlich jedoch ein Einzelfall. 

Gewoonweg een goed basic edc mes van Benchmade! Goede centering van het lemmet, geen speling, mooie 'lock-up' snelle opening. Hij voelt ook zeer stevig aan door de aluminium constructie. de 'thumb stud' zit wel wat dicht bij de handgreep en de clip geeft in mijn ogen niet voldoende spanning. Als ik deze vergelijk met mijn mini grip (ook van Benchmade) dan verkies ik deze. Toch verdomd spijtig dat ik zulke messen in België niet zomaar op zak kan hebben...

Prima edc mesje. Zit goed in elkaar en kwam scherp aan. Een klein nadeel, het zwart van het heft geeft in het begin af.
Een aanrader voor iemand die een handzaam mesje bij hen wil dragen

Het is wat aan de prijzige kant, maar gezien de kwaliteit en het model is het het dubbel en dwars waard. Ik heb de sequel nu een paar maanden in bezit; geen bladeplay, geen problemen, nog steeds scherp. De axis lock is ook geweldig om mee te spelen, soepel, snel, en geeft een voldoend gevoel bij het openen. Hiervoor had ik een Kershaw mes met speedsafe, maar de axis lock blaast deze helemaal weg. Ga je liever voor functionaliteit, dan voldoet de Griptillian. Ga je voor elegantie, dan moet je voor de Sequel gaan.
