The original Japanese Benriner mandolin 'Jumbo' can be adjusted to the desired thickness. With the screw on the bottom, you can quickly adjust the cutting height. Easy! The included finger guard ensures that you can cut without risk of injury. The pins in the protector firmly hold the vegetables in place. 


The front of the Benriner mandolin is enhanced with a rubber anti-slip foot to make sure the mandolin does not move as you use it. The cut-out underneath the mandolin is placed on the edge of a bowl so the slices will immediately fall into the bowl.

Heel fijne mandoline. Ik had hiermee gewerkt bij een kookworkshop die ik volgde. Vanwege die ervaring meteen besteld. Ik dacht slim te zijn door de grote te bestellen omdat je daar meer mee zou kunnen dan met zo'n smalle. In de praktijk blijkt deze grote wat lastiger te verstellen dan die smallere. 
Het wieltje waarmee je hem strakker moet draaien is wat stroef.  Hij is overigens wel lekker scherp.
