The knife comes sharp, so one chore less, it is well made, has strong joints , and opens easily. The lock is firm and inspires confidence, a very good knife at an excellent price.

Quite sturdy and handy for many purposes -not so good with carving wood, because of the sharpening angle (should be around 20-22 degrees and not hollow)

This knife did not cost very much money at all. I have carried it about my work now for the last two weeks, in and around a busy wooden boat building shop, and it has more than surpassed anything I should have expected for the price. I normally carry an Opinel No: 8, but find that although fantastic for preparing lunch, I needed something with slightly more grunt. The Eden 106 is compact, the lock seems very reliable and the quality of the blade is really rather good. After some pretty hard usage over the last few days, I finally felt that maybe some of the sharpness had gone. I stroked the knife a couple of times over a good quality butcher's steel and the blade was ready to go again as sharp as it was when it arrived. I am delighted

For the price a very nice little pocket knife well made secure lock and a sharpe spine for striking a ferro rod. stroped the blade and have a very fine cutting edge..
