The **Fällkniven S1nz Forest Knife** is a sturdy outdoor knife that has more than proven itself. For years, this knife has been a popular fixed knife amongst bushcraft and survival enthusiasts as well as hunters. The S1nz is a slightly smaller than the A1nz. The blade is 3 cm shorter and 1 mm thinner. As such, the S1nz is better suited for those who prefer a compact outdoor knife.




The blade of the Fällkniven S1NZ Forest Knife, VGWOLF, Zytel sheath, outdoor knife measures 13 cm in length and 5 mm in thickness. The total length is 24.4 cm.



## Steel type: VGWolf
The blade of this Fällkniven is made from VGWolf steel, also known as Lam. VG7. This steel is a laminated steel based on VG10, but with an improved composition. Thanks to the addition of tungsten (or wolfram), this steel is more wear resistant, retains its sharpness longer and has a finer micro-structure than standard VG10 or even VG10W. The laminated construction means that a hard core is covered by softer, stainless steel. This results in extra toughness and shock resistance, ideal for outdoor and survival use.



This knife has a convex grind. This is a special sharpening method where the side of the blade continues in one convex curve to a razor-sharp edge. This sharpening method is often applied by hand in the factory. The great advantage of a convex grind is that it offers the perfect balance between minimal cutting resistance and optimum strength of the edge. The blade of this knife is enhanced with a 'satin finish'. This is a chic and tasteful finish that is very popular.

Klantenservice van knivesandtools vind dat ik moet wachten. Mijn vraag is hoelang dan. Zou 23e geleverd worden, het is nu de 29e! Wil mijn order annuleren, maar dat gaat niet!
