The **Fenix FD45** is a focusable LED flashlight that works with four AA-batteries. With these batteries it can reach a maximum light output of 900 lumens! For a light that uses these types of batteries this is a lot. The main advantage of this focusable light is that you can choose the beam you would like to use. A wide beam for short distances, or a focussed beam for long distances. With that spotlight you can reach a maximum distance of 300 meters according to the ANSI-norm which is also very impressive.


The Cree XP-L Hi-LED light is neutral white. As such the colour rendering of the FD45 is very natural. This is great because you will not be bothered by a streak of blue in your beam. In terms of light modes you can choose from five constant light modes, a stroboscope mode and an SOS mode.


The Fenix FD45 uses four AA-batteries. It is up to you to decide between alkaline batteries or rechargeable NiMH batteries. However, keep in mind that the maximum burning time does differ between the two.


The Fenix FD45 is easy to use. One button on the side that you can use to switch to all light modes. In addition, with the rotating ring on top you can focus your beam.

Fenix gekozen voor het merk. Oerdegelijk, ligt lekker in de hand, batterijen overal verkrijgbaar. Grootste voordeel, geen tactische knop, alles met de knop aan de zijkant. Nog een voordeel, hij is focuseerbaar. Er zit een telestand op en een groothoekstand. De laatste is echt schitterend. Blijft standaard voor mij. Lijkt wel een floodlens.
Geen spijt van.

Deze gekocht als vervanger voor een defecte ledlenser (dus had wel wat oplaadbare AA's). Had al een andere Fenix,dus terug voor Fenix gekozen.Is compact en geeft veel licht. Het licht is warmer dan m'n andere zaklampen. Kan misschien een probleem zijn als je voor foto toepassingen gebruik maakt van verschillende zaklampen (witbalans) . Daar de bedieningsknop aan de zijkant zit is het goed dat er een functie inzit die er voor zorgt dat de lamp geblokkeerd is zodat deze bij accidenteel ingedrukt houden van de knop deze niet constant aanstaat. De zoom functie is wel  nog zeer stroef. Zal misschien nog wat vlotter gaan maar zal wel iets met de waterdichtheid te maken hebben.  De holster had voor mij iets meer gesloten mogen zijn naar boven zodat er minder kans is dat de lamp er zou kunnen uitvallen als m'n iets avontuurlijker is. 

Ongelooflijk wat een licht er uit zo een kleine lamp komt. Het is wel een iets warmer wit licht. Handig ding. De hele achtertuin is verlicht. En die is echt wel groot!

Mit dieser Lampe hat man auf jeden Fall etwas in der Hand. Und das fühlt sich wertig an. Dazu trägt auch die Edelstahl-Taste bei. Der Fokussierring ist anfangs tatsächlich sehr schwergängig, ist aber in den Griff zu bekommen. Die Leistung der Lampe ist prima. Und entgegen der Beschreibung waren 4 Batterien im Lieferumfang enthalten.

Een mooie en solide zaklamp die presteert. De lamp is wel wat aan de zware kant en de ring om de lamp te kunnen focussen loopt vrij stroef. De flinke lichtopbrengst in combinatie met de AA-batterijen, was voor mij de reden om de FD45 aan te schaffen. De levering was zoals altijd snel.
