The **Fenix RC11** is a compact hulk, great for everyday carry. This compact flashlight has an impressive maximum light output of 1000 ANSI lumens. The included 18650 battery can be recharged in the case of the flashlight by means of an included magnetic USB cable. As such you won’t need to disassemble the light to recharge the battery.


The Fenix RC11 works with two CR123A batteries and with the included 18650 button-top battery. The main advantage of the latter is that you can recharge it, but a CR123A battery is also great to have around as a back-up as it will retain its voltage for at least 9 years when you don’t use it. In addition, it will function really well when faced with (extremely) low temperatures.


## Fenix RC11: intuitive controls


In terms of daily use we can be very brief: it works very simple and intuitive. The side switch will enable you to switch through all the modes. To prevent it from turning on when you don’t want it to you can lock the light by quickly pressing the side switch two times when it is turned off. By repeating this process you can shut down the ‘lock-out mode’. The deep-carry pocket clip can be attached in two different ways. As such you can determine how you would like to carry around the flashlight in your pocket.


Incredibly useful is the fact that the magnetic USB cable also contains a Micro USB plug. As such you can use this cable for the RC11, but also for a phone or tablet with the same plug.


**Please note: The RC11 can only handle button-top batteries.**


5 light modes and a stroboscope mode. On one 2600mAh 18650 battery:   

- Strobe (1000 ANSI lumens)   

- Eco (10 ANSI lumens, 135 hours)   

- Low (50 ANSI lumens, 29 hours and 30 minutes)   

- Medium (150 ANSI lumens, 11 hours and 10 minutes)   

- High (500 ANSI lumens, 2 hours and 50 minutes)   

- Turbo (1000 ANSI lumens, 1 hour and 20 minutes)   



**Please note: before use you need to remove the black disk in between the battery and the case. Simply screw off the back of the light and it will fall out.**


The Fenix 18650 2600mAh button-top battery is already placed inside the light.

Een uitstekende zaklamp met een grote lichtopbrengst. Solide uitgevoerd en zeer handzaam. Goede prijs/kwaliteit verhouding. Zeer aan te bevelen.

Hochwertige Verarbeitung, in der Hand relativ klein und schwer - aber Abmessungen und Gewicht kennt man ja vorher von der Website. Ich verwende zusätzlich den etwas leistungsfähigeren 3500 mAh Akku von Fenix. Habe die Akku-Betriebszeit nicht gemessen, dürfte aber den Angaben entsprechen (bzw. bei dem stärkeren Akku ca. 1/3 mehr sein). Wird als Nachttischlampe mit Diffusor-Aufsatz und als Zeltleuchte auf Wintertouren eingesetzt.

Belle lampe assez volumineuse et solide. 
Très puissante. Mode de recharge pratique. 
On ne craint plus de voir la lampe détruite par une pile qui coule!!!!

Een poosje geleden heb ik deze lamp aangeschaft voor het doen van inspectiewerkzaamheden aan lassen. Dit zijn voor een zaklamp vrij zware omstandigheden met veel stof en slijpsel. En hij zit veel in de zak van mijn overall.
Hier kan ik kort over zijn: Deze lamp is hier niet geschikt voor. Er schijnt een lock functie op te zitten, maar deze heb ik niet gebruikt want dat is voor mij te omslachtig. Moet hem veel in mijn zak doen en weer eruit halen. In je zak gaat de lamp nogal eens aan. De knop is ook lastig te bedienen met handschoenen aan. Ook zit het magneetje waar je de (veel te korte) laadkabel aan moet plakken elke keer vol met ijzerslijpsel.. Moet dat dus steeds schoonblazen met een hogedruk luchtspuitje. Niet handig. Bij mij wilde het geval dat de lamp allerlei storingen had. Vlak na in gebruikname al. Hij ging vaak niet aan, of ging wel aan en knipperde dan, of ging aan en er werkten maar 1 of 2 lichtstanden. Alleen de zwakste. Via de chat contact opgenomen met Kato en die vertelden me dat dit probleem vaker voor komt bij dit type lamp en dat dit in de lampkop zit. Ik heb ze mijn bestelnummer doorgegeven, en de volgende dag had ik al een gratis nieuwe lampkop in huis!  Chapeau voor de supergoede service van Kato dus.
Helaas heb ik  het probleem nu weer, dus denk dat ik ermee moet leren leven. Ga Kato niet weer lastig vallen met hetzelfde probleem. In het begin deed de nieuwe kop het wel goed trouwens, maar deze lamp is blijkbaar ongeschikt voor werk in zware omstandigheden. Hiervoor had ik een Nitecore MH27, maar die is beter geschikt voor dit werk. Daar heb ik een maand of 8 mee gedaan. Ja, ik eet deze lampen. Maar ze zijn onmisbaar voor mij werk helaas. De rc11 is een handig en klein lampje, en voor thuis zal hij ongetwijfeld goed voldoen, maar voor mij is hij ongeschikt gebleken.
De Fenix RC11 zeg ik nee tegen.
Tegen Kato zeg ik een dikke JA natuurlijk.
