With the 'honing oil' by Lansky, you keep all your natural sharpening stones in top condition. A few drops are enough to oil your hand made sharpening stones and rods.

This guarantees a long lasting professional sharpening result. 

Please note that Lansky Nathan's 'Honing Oil' is not suitabel for diamond stones. These do not need to be oiled at all.

Un aceite realmente bueno, inodoro, se extiende muy bien en la piedra y realmente levanta las partículas de hierro. Incluso en una piedra que ya hayas usado y secado/limpiado, le pasas con el dedo unas gotas de aceite y saca a flote partículas de hierro invisibles que estaban ahi ocultas en la piedra

Fits for its purpose decently, keeps the metal particles in suspension. 
I am not sure that it is better than cauliflower oil, or any general purpose oil. 
It leaks into the mineral sharpening stones and going to smell slightly rancid as months goes on.
