Are your knives in need of sharpening?


This water grinder makes it easy to make and keep your knives sharp. Fill the dish with a little water. Then quietly pass the knife through each of the three grinding rollers without exercising too much pressure. Approximately 7 to 10 times on each roller and your knife is ready for use again! First use the white wheel with the coarser grain, then move on to the brown one with the medium grain and finally to the pink one with the finer grain.

This water grinder is so easy to use, that there is absolutely no reason to ever have to cut with a dull blade again.  
  

**Important: Do not forget to use the water! This oils and cleans the wheels.**

Het slijpen op de de Skerper wetstenen lukt nog niet zo goed. Maar dat ligt aan mij. Voor mijn keukenmessen wilde ik toch een wat makkelijkere oplossing. Omdat K&T deze getest heeft en deze scherp resultaat zou opleveren voor een doortrekslijper deze aangeschaft. Op 3 messen geprobeerd. Op twee keukenmessen van de Blokker en op een Opinel no.8. Ik ben niet heel erg gehecht aan deze keukenmessen maar zo'n lelijke streep als dat deze slijper achterlaat vind ik zelfs zonde voor een mes waar ik niet aan gehecht ben. Na 30 - 45 min per keukenmes gaan de messen nog nauwelijks goed door standaard A4 papier. Ze zijn wel iets scherper. Bij de Opinel na een paar halen al gestopt omdat dit toen al het mes aardig had beschadigd. Op de wetstenen krijg ik nog geen goed resultaat door mijn gebrek aan vaardigheid maar dan raken mijn messen iig niet zo beschadigd.

Deze water slijper doet wat ik gehoopt had. Er zaten wat kleine braampjes op 2 van mijn Global messen. Volgens de handleiding de messen door de waterslijper gehaald. De braampjes waren weg en mijn messen weer, onder de juiste hoek, vlijmscherp :-)

Werkt zeer eenvoudig en maakt messen scherp genoeg. Prima investering.

Heel handig tool om snel je messen weer scherp te zetten. Geen perfectie zoals je het met een wet stone zou doen maar wel veel sneller en meer dan goed voor in de dagelijkse keuken. Bedankt voor de snelle service.

Please note that knives are almost always sharpened by hand, even in factories. This value is therefore only an indication of a single tool measured by us.
