This pair of **Okatsune pruning shears** is great for quickly and easily pruning plants, bushes and trees. Its razor-sharp blades take care of a clean and precise cut. Unlike other pruning shears this pair actually cuts through, for instance, branches while others often crush them.


This is the large version of the Okatsune pruning shears. This means it is the perfect pair for anyone with large hands.


This pair has properly been enhanced with a large spring. Fool-proof, when used normally it won’t break. Incredibly sustainable. When closed you use a steel latch to keep the blades together.


## Okatsune shears: only the best quality from Japan


The Okatsune shears often look a little basic. Looks, however, can be deceiving. The constructions are so simple because they work. You really don’t need more. Okatsune uses Japanese top-quality steel to manufacture the shears. The same type of carbon steel was used to forge katana swords. So yes, they are that good!


Okatsune has become a pro in hardening the blades. As such the shears will stay sharper a lot longer than your average shears from the hardware store. A lot of attention was also paid to the geometry. As such the shears are amazing to work with.


## Maintaining Okatsune pruning shears


Because the blades on this pair of shears were made from carbon steel they are not stainless. As a result it would be a good idea to clean the blades after use and add a drop of oil. A small sacrifice, especially when you know what you get in return. Many people will only understand how good a pair of Okatsune shears actually is after they have used it!

Sorry, kan ik niet doen. Ik heb het cadeau gegeven, maar ik geloof wel dat het mes goed bevalt.

Nadat ik hier reeds eerder een Okatsune Snoeischaar KST104 heb gekocht en hierover zeer tevreden was heb ik nogmaals dezelfde schaar aangekocht om te gebruiken in mijn 2de verblijf. Deze KST104 overtreft alle andere scharen die ik reeds had waaronder de Felco2, Gardena enz. Werkelijk een heel aangename schaar om mee te werken, het veersysteem werkt prima en nooit geen vervuilde veer meer. Ook bij het knippen voel je dat je met een geringe kracht deze vlijmscherpe schaar vlot snijden. Werkelijk een topper!!!

Goede kwaliteit

Zeer tevreden over deze Okatsune Snoeischaar KST104 voldoet volledig aan mijn verwachtingen. Knipt veel beter dan mijn vorige snoeischaren Felco2,  Fiskars, Gardena en Wolf. 
Het veersysteem van de Oksatune ziet er eenvoudig uit maar gaat niet stroef werken door vervuiling in tegenstelling tot de andere merken. Ook het blokkeringssysteem is perfect en ook hier geen stroeve werking na verloop van tijd. 
1 klein minpuntje zonder handschoen schuift je hand naar voren toe bij het dichtknijpen, maar dit weegt niet op tegen de kawaliteit van deze Okatsune snoeischaar
