Having had pocket knives all my life, I will say this is the best one I’ve ever had. Love the look and feel of it. Great G10 handle, solid hard steel blade, super sharp out the box. Opening and closing this knife feels super solid. Even though it’s listed as a two-handed opener, I’ve been able to use it as a one-handed opener with relative ease. Pocket clip is super strong and very reliable. Will buy SOG again and again.

These are great knives. Whilst not lock knives, they hold open very firmly, so much so it was unexpected. They have the obligatory very sharp edge, and overall make a good UK legal edc. What I don't like is the packaging. The actual box reminded me of a Benchmade one, but the inside was nothing short of very disappointing. If you just want a pocket knife, and it may never go back in its box, then it is no problem. For a collector, or "knife geek" even, SOG have really skimped on the inner packaging.

This is my first EDC knife and as soon as I saw it I knew I had to get one and wow I am not disappointed. The look and feel of this knife Is amazing and the quality of the blade is top quality and very sharp indeed. For the price I paid, I have to say I got myself a bargain.

Just purchased the SOG Terminus in black. I also have about 10 other SOG knives. As I am in the UK I can't legally carry any of them so I was really happy to hear about the Terminus. I really like the knife but it would be excellent if it had a thumb opener and spring assist (should be legal in UK?). I also prefer the Tanto blade which doesn't exist yet? The UK law states the cutting edge blade has to be be less than 3 inches. So is it possible to have a longer blade but at the beginning it's thick so it's not a cutting blade, say 0.5 of an inch so the blade could be 3.5 inches but the cutting edge is 3. So I hope the next generation would be a tanto blade with spring assist and a longer looking knife, but UK legal carry.
