The SOG Terminus is a solid, modern slipjoint. It's a great combination of a two-handed opening knife without a lock, and the materials and finish of a modern EDC pocket knife.
This means you use two hands to open the Terminus. When opened, the blade is held in place by a slipjoint-style lock. This ensures the blade stays where it should, but it isn't completely locked. As a result, you can legally carry the Terminus in many places in Europe.
The choice of materials and design are quite unique for a slipjoint. You don't often see a G10 handle with a pattern like this on a knife that you can legally carry in so many places. The type of steel, CTS-BD1, is also an unusual occurrence in this class. So it is really a pure EDC knife with the benefits of a two-handed slipjoint. Highly recommended for anyone who travels a lot.
