This **Spyderco Paramilitary 2** is an amazing pocket knife which is manufactured in the Spyderco factory in Golden, Colorado, USA, Earth. As with every Spyderco knife the finish is absolutely sublime. It opens smoothly and the famous Compression Lock, designed by Spyderco founder Sal Glesser, is very solid and easy to use.


The blade of the Spyderco Paramilitary 2 is made from CPM S45VN steel. A stainless type of steel which is very popular amongst knife enthusiasts. Thinly sharpened, a perfect *slicer*.

Spyderco makes knives that can be used, not looked at. However, the Paramilitary 2 truly is a sight for sore eyes. At the same time the ergonomics are also amazing. Designer Sal Glesser definitely knows what works and what doesn’t, which is something you can clearly see in this successful model.

Das Messer finde ich top, lief out of the box super und super scharf geschliffen. Hab meins mit Scales und deepcarry Clip von Flytanium, natürlich auch von Kinves and Tools gekauft, umgebaut und es nochmals aufgewertet. 
Die Lieferung durch K&T´s wie immer top, kenn ich nicht anders. ;)
Naja beim Preis ein wenig Abzüge, das bezieht sich aber NUR auf die Preisgestaltung von Spyderco selber, der Marktpreis bei K&T´s ist top.

Das Spyderco Paramilitary 2 C81GP2 Taschenmesser liegt perfekt in der Hand und lässt sich mit etwas Übung leicht als Einhandmesser öffnen. Die Haptic ist ausgesprochen gut. Dieses Messer kann ich absolut empfehlen. 

Preis ist ein wenig hoch, aber man erhält ein sehr funktionales messer. Heat treat und factory edge sind perfekt.

Ik heb dit mes al best vaak gehad. De S30V versies waren van veel betere kwaliteit dan de nieuwe S45VN. Spyderco laat z’n kwaliteitscontrole te wensen over, messen met speling op t lemmet, niet gecentreerde exemplaren, modellen met veel te weinig, of veel te veel detent, modellen die de ene helft van het open klappen soepel gaan en vervolgens de andere helft tot de vergrendeling superstroef. Ik heb tot nu nog geen 1 S45VN model gehad wat naar m’n wens was. Jammer, want de PM2 is altijd m’n favoriete mes geweest, maar door de slechte kwaliteitscontrole heb ik er op dit moment geen behoefte meer aan.. voor een zakmes van 200+ euro’s mag je best verwachten dat je een kwalitatief goed product koopt met dito afwerking en functionaliteit. Helaas is dat de laatste tijd niet het geval. Misschien kan K&T eens contact met me opnemen om mij het tegendeel te bewijzen? Ik heb dit mes in het verleden namelijk al meerdere keren bestelt, en elke keer retour moeten zenden.
