Seemed to dull my blades, used to manufacturers instruction. Also the course sides steel dropped below the plastic casing which meant it no longer does the job it is supposed to.

The best knife sharpener I have had in recent years. After trying various sharpeners on household kitchen knives and always feeling disapointed, I needed to sharpen my Leatherman. I saw a recomendation for the Work Sharp Pivot Plus that impressed me because it was for Leatherman, a brand I trusted. I figured Leatherman would not let their name be used on poor quality stuff. I bought one, and it arrived on time. I tried it, and it brought my Leatherman back to "Like New" sharpness. The rest of my household knives are also now "Like New" which makes the wife very happy. I highly recomend the Work Sharp Pivot Plus.
