Benchmade 557 Mini-Griptilian Tanto, black

Paid what appears to be the new (higher) price for this knife because I really wanted a mini griptillian with a tanto blade. I could have got another bladeshaped one for cheaper from elsewhere , but that's on me. Anyway, the blade is sharp, the movement nice and smooth, there's a tiny bit of side to side blade play if the blade is loose enough to flick open but that is easily eliminated by tightening the pivot. The handle is pleasantly shaped and has a nice feel in the hand. It's slightly on the small side for my (XL sized) hands but I knew it would be, being a mini-grip. Overall, happy with the knife, though the recent jump in price is a bit hard to swallow.
