Full description
The Benchmade 565 Mini Freek is practical pocket knife for daily use. Light in terms of weight, massive in terms of performances. A great pocket knife to become acquainted with Benchmade's American production.
The Benchmade Mini Freek is enhanced with a compact and manageable blade made from CPM S90V steel. An American metallurgical type of powder steel. Sounds difficult, but it is important for you to know that this is high-tech steel with excellent properties for a pocket knife. Good sharpness retention, excellent rust resistance and pretty good to sharpen yourself.
Benchmade used a relatively new type of material for the handle: Versaflex. A light-weight thermo-plastic that feels great in hand. To make sure the blade is strong enough a steel liner was placed around the pivot.
You can easily open the Mini Freek with one hand. When opened Benchmade's famous Axis-lock keeps the blade in place. In terms of construction this pocket knife is completely symmetric. As such it is perfect for both left and right-handed use. The pocket clip is placed for right-handed use, but with the Torx T6 screwdriver you can easily change it for left-handed use.
So, are you looking for a light weighted pocket knife with a large blade for daily chores? If so the Benchmade Mini Freek is a great choice!
