The **Benchmade Flyway 15700** is a multifunctional hunting knife. It is made for preparing small game and poultry that require a small, razor-sharp blade. The Flyway is also a great choice for EDC use! The Flyway is slim and lightweight. This makes the knife easy to handle and it won't weigh you down while hunting. The different facets on the scales and the ridges on the blade offer a wide variety of ways to hold the knife.

## Benchmade Flyway steel type

The blade is made from CPM S90V steel. This is a fantastic type of steel that retains its sharpness well. One of the best types of steel ever. Benchmade used their SelectEdge sharpening method on this knife. The edge is sharpened at a 14-degree angle for optimum sharpness. The blade thickness is only 2 mm, so you feel little resistance while cutting. The blade features a stonewashed finish which hides traces of use. 

## Benchmade Flyway handle

The handle is made from OD green G10, and the hardware has a bright orange colour. This makes it much easier to find in the dark if you accidentally lose it. The orange sheath is made from Boltaron. This is a super strong material. The sheath allows you to carry the knife on your belt or wear it around your neck as a neck knife.
