This **Böker Optima Anniversary Edition 115122** is a cool edition of the Böker Optima. This typical hunting knife has a large handle for optimal grip. Unique about the Böker Optima is that the clippoint blade can be removed. Instructions to do so are included. Böker offers a couple of replacement blades that can easily be installed, but another advantage is that you can properly clean the knife.

 The blade is made from 440C-steel. This is stainless and easy to sharpen. 440C-steel is a basic type of steel many current types of steel are based on.

 In between the nickel silver bolster you will find a curly birch wood inlay. It is a type of wood enhanced with a stunning pattern. This knife is stabilized with green resin to make sure it is almost as strong as plastic.

 In the middle of the blade on the left side you will find a large 'Tree Brand' logo. An old school logo Böker used often in the past. Now it is back, gilded and all. Like the gilded logo in the handle.

 This is the Anniversary Edition to honour Böker's 150th anniversary as a knife manufacturer. Only 150 pieces were made and each has a number.
