Excellent blade! I use this knife for red and roe deer in Scotland. I chose this knife specifically so I could fully 'prep' deer away from the larder, if needed. The knife came with a razor sharp edge including the gut hook. It can hold an edge well, even against fur. It's lightweight but strong and solid. The grip is superb and has a handy pocket clip. The type of metal is not prone to rust so it's low maintenance. The pouch is strong and versatile. Buy it in a non natural colour so you don't lose it on the ground!
