The **Buck Ground Compound Knife Tanto 893** is a decent fixed knife. As its name might already suggest this knife was designed for soldiers who are planning to use it as a survival knife. Of course it is also a great knife for other survival, camping or DIY enthusiasts.



The pointed tanto blade is made from 5160 steel. That's a tough type of tool steel that can handle quite a lot. As such you can always rely on your knife, even in the most precarious situations. 5160 is easy to sharpen. Also great when you are out in the field with limited means. The only thing you need to take into account is the corrosion resistance: moisure, acids, salt and blood can leave discolourations or even cause rust. For that reason Buck enhanced the blade with a Cerakote coating. This sustainable coating protects it against rust, but can eventually also wear out. That is why it is important to clean the knife after use and occasionally grease it.



To carry the Buck Ground Combat Knife GCK with you it comes with a solid plastic sheath with MOLLE compatible nylon backing.
