The CRKT Nathan's Knife Kit 1032 is a nice kit for a young knife enthusiast. You and your child can build his or her first pocket knife together. It can all be done without tools, and the final knife is of course not sharp. Nevertheless, the back lock works exactly like a real pocket knife.

Expectations
A great gift for a kid. The action is surprisingly good for a wooden knife, as the back-lock functions perfectly. I recommend gluing in the wooden pins though, as they easily fall out and can get lost.
