This sharpening stone is intended for us in the Edge Pro sharpening system. This sharpening stone is not mounted on the aluminum base plate which you need to clamp it into the Edge Pro sharpening system. This base plate can be ordered separately as an accessorie.
The grit size can not be directly compared to the grit sizes of Japanese water stones. Use therefore the table given here.
