The Fenix TK35 has gotten a complete update and is now available in the 2018 version. What changed? Amongst other things the type of LED light and the number of lumens. However, one of the most significant changes is the fact that the battery can be recharged! So you will never have to worry about spares again. Each USB port can be used as a loading point. Another major change is how you use the light. Unlike the previous version, which has two buttons on the back, this version has a wheel you can use to easily switch between the outdoor and tactical mode. Subsequently you can use the two buttons to switch between the light modes.
With the updated light output of at least 3200 lumens the TK35UE has an amount of light most other spotlights will be jealous of.
Like the ‘ordinary’ version the 2018 version is a relatively compact flashlight great for outdoor use. The two practical switches on the back can be used to turn the light on and off and to choose the right light mode. The light uses two rechargeable 18650 batteries (preferably) or four CR123A batteries.
Many light beams have a slightly blue-purple colour because of the used LED light. However, when you use this light on a daily basis you will barely notice this. After all, our brains easily and quickly adapt to the colour considering it to be normal white light.

*The specification of the light output is according to the ANSI/NEMA FL 1-2009 norm. This means that the values might be a little lower than the old specs. This lower value will, of course, not affect the light output. The benefit of the ANSI/NEMA FL 1-2009 norm is that the specs can easily be compared, giving you an actual idea of the reality.
