The **Fiskars A10 hand axe** is great for small logs for the campfire. This axe comes with an innovative plastic sheath that can easily be attached, can handle moisture and is easy to carry with you.


Traditionally speaking an axe comes with a wooden handle. Fiskars, however, decided that even an old type of tool like an axe can be improved. The fibreglass reinforced plastic FiberComp handle of a Fiskars axe is stronger than a handle that is merely made from wood. Tests have shown that while a wooden handle breaks a FiberComp handle will simply carry on. The axe head is integrated in the handle and will therefore not let go. The handle absorbs vibrations and increases the grip and the comfort as you use the axe.
