I'm not a knife enthusiast but I wanted a good penknife with really good steel. Time will tell, but so far I have used it to prune new growth in my orchard, and trim gooseberries. Boy, this thing is sharp straight out of the box. I mean sharp sharp! I would have preferred a bright blade but saved myself £15 with this, and I get extra corrosion resistance. The handle is a good shape, is comfortable and the blade opens and stays put. I need to work out which of my nephews will get this when I eventually croak, as it feels like it will last a long time. Very happy with my first proper non kitchen knife.
