The Gerber Paraframe II Tanto is the larger, tactical edition of the classic Paraframe. The pocket knife is completely black and has a partially serrated, pointed blade. The open frame, similar to the frame on the original Paraframe, saves weight and ensures that the pocket knife can easily be cleaned. A striking, tactical EDC pocket knife.
The blade on the Gerber Paraframe II Tanto is made from 7Cr17MoV steel and has a black Titanium Nitrade coating for additional corrosion resistance. The edge is partially serrated and perfect when you need to open a box or cut a piece of rope. The open handle on the Paraframe Tanto is made from stainless 3Cr13 steel. Like the blade it is completely dressed in black.
The knife can easily be opened with the thumb studs on the blade. When opened the frame lock firmly keeps the blade in place. It might take a little practice but you can also close the knife using only one hand, even though this might be a little tricky at first. With the practical tip-down pocket clip you can easily attach the knife to your pocket or belt to make sure you will always have it around when you need it most.
