Gift set comprised of a corkscrew and foil cutter

This **Le Creuset wine gift set** is comprised of the [TM-100 corkscrew ](/en/pt/-le-creuset-49104001400100-tm-100-corkscrew.htm) and the FC-110 foil cutter. This is the first corkscrew Le Creuset ever developed and, according to many, it is still one of the best on the market.

 ## TM-100 corkscrew
The corkscrew is based on a unique design from 1979 from Herbert Allen. This design ensures that the cork automatically rises from the bottle when you turn the spiral. So you don't have to pull the cork out of the bottle. This makes opening the wine bottle even easier.

The TM-100 corkscrew is made from black polycarbonate, a lightweight but strong material. The spiral is enhanced with a teflon coating. This coating ensures the spiral easily twists into the cork. As such the cork won't be damaged when you pierce it.

The legs of the corkscrew are slightly flexible. As such you have a firm grip over the neck of the wine bottle. This ensures that you can easily turn the spiral in the cork.

 ## FC-110 foil cutter

With the Le Creuset foil cutter FC-110 you can easily remove the foil from a wine bottle. The stylish plastic foil cutter has a fancy look thanks to the nice design and the slightly glossy ebony-black colour.

In terms of shape the foil cutter looks like a scorpion's claws. You place the top of the cork, with the foil still around it, in the middle of these 'claws'. You secure the flexible foil cutter around the cork, after which the cutting wheels at the base do all the work. Turn the foil cutter and the top of the cork will present itself.
