Nice torch good beam and several power options. Uses AA batteries x4. However I would consider the M7 as very similar beam and functions but much handier for the pocket as smaller and uses AAA x4. I have both torches but prefer the M7. The M14 might have a better battery life and could be used as a cosh, as it is quite heavy, in an emergency.
