The lion steel sr1 is close to perfect in my opinion. The looks are beautiful, the milled aluminium one piece handle looks and feels really solid and comfortable. The blade is tall with a thick spine and a nice bevelled top. Other reviews online talk about the teflon washers not allowing the blade to open smoothly but I can flick it out with a satisfying snap pretty easily. The d2 blade is shave sharp out of the box too which is always nice.

A fantastic piece of kit. Thick spine, long flat grind, plenty of belly. A versatile knife indeed. Solid lock up, I like the roto-lock, it works for me in quite a few situations. No play at all and a solid noise as it opens & closes. Feels great in the hand, the handle is a little slippery to begin with, but you soon get used to that and it locks into your hand nicely. Useful jimping. A pleasure to use. Think I'll get the smaller version too.
