The LionSteel SR1 is a large and luxurious gentleman's knife. The handle is milled out of one block of titanium. The spine of the handle is enhanced with cut-outs to reduce the weight. Because the thumb studs are placed on both side of the blade it is great for best left and right-handed use. The top of the blade has been enhanced with ridges for additional grip. A decent framelock locks the blade. The end of the framelock is protected by a hardened, steel element.
This special edition of the SR1 is enhanced with a blade made from Chad Nichols Raindrop Damascus steel. The pattern of this damascus steel looks like there are drops lying on the blade. As such its design betrays how it got its name.
You can use the RotoBlock system to lock the blade to make sure this folding knife is almost as strong as a fixed knife. This doesn't only prove that the knife looks amazing, it is also made to be used.
The included wooden box contains a tool to attach the individual pocket clip and adjust the hinge. And, of course, the box itself is amazing if you wish to store your knife at the end of the day.
