This **Lodge Seasoning spray** protects your cast iron pans and improves the layer of your pan. It makes sure your pan won't rust and adds a natural non-stick coating. The spray is made from 100% canola oil.


## Maintaining your pan


The best way to create a natural layer inside your pan is by cooking in it! Each time you use oil in the pan, it will become better. Acidic food, high temperatures or scrubbing too hard can, however, reduce the layer. This seasoning spray will then come in handy! Treating it again is easy: 




* First clean the pan with water and some detergent. 

*  Afterwards spray a thin, even layer of seasoning spray on the inside and outside of the pan.

*  Place the pan upside down in the oven. Make sure the bottom of the oven is enhanced with baking paper or aluminium foil.

* 'Bake' the pan for an hour at 230-260°C. Allow it to chill, and you are done!
