The special edition of the **Microplane Classic Zester** with camouflage pattern is great when grating citrus fruits, hard cheese, garlic and chocolate. The handle feels comfortable in hand and is a little coarser to make sure it won't easily slip from your hands. Not even if the handle is wet. The end of the blade contains small rubber feet. When you start grating you put those feet on your countertop. As such the grater won't slip during use. Because of the rubber you also won't be left with scratches on your countertops. 

A grater from the Microplane Premium Classic collection is more compact than graters from other collections from the same brand. As such you can easily store them, but you can also use it to easily grate something at the dinner table. Add some freshly grated cheese to your pasta, for instance. The Funky Camouflage is a special edition zester of which the handle is enhanced with a camouflage pattern.

## What do you use the Microplane Zester for?

The Microplane Zester is perfect when grating citrus fruits. It has got the perfect depth for grating lemons, for instance. Here the bitter part of the lemon is not included. The Microplane Zester leaves a spiky zest. Different in comparison to a fine grater. This grater namely produces zest with a powder structure. 

In addition to citrus fruits you can also use the Microplane Zester to grate hard cheese, garlic, shallots, ginger and chocolate.

The blade of the Microplane Zester is made from top-quality stainless steel. The razor-sharp edges easily cut through both hard and soft food, without it tearing or shredding.

## Maintenance and storage

We advise you to rinse off the zester with warm water after use. It is also a good idea to remove any left-over residue. The Microplane Zester is dishwasher proof. Please note that this is not an option with the protective cover that is included. You use this plastic cover to protect the zester when you store it. As such you won't accidentally hit any of the sharp edges.
