The Microplane Spice Cup Grater is a convenient grater, designed specifically for grating spices. Nutmeg and cinnamon are no match for this razor-sharp grater. The stainless steel grater blade, which is produced in America, is razor-sharp like we have come to expect from Microplane. The grater is protected by a plastic cover. When you are going to grate you can click on the bottom so that the grated product is collected. The grater itself is dishwasher safe, but the cover is not!
