The Mora Eldris is a fixed neck knife. The perfect companion for smaller tasks around the camp, food prep, wood carving or making a one stick fire. It's an ideal knife to put in your backpack alongside your larger outdoor knife. You can carry it as a neck knife or put it in your jacket pocket.
The blade is made from Sandvik 12C27 steel and has an exceptional grind. In addition to the regular Scandi edge, the shoulder of this edge is thinner in the front for less cutting resistance. The handle is made from polymer, with a TPE rubber finish around the core. Very durable, and provides plenty of grip. The large handle gives you optimal control over the blade. This is indispensable when you're carving wood.
The spine on the blade is seriously sharp. This could appear to be a disadvantage, until you try to use a firesteel with it. The sparks will fly! You'll notice that this was clearly thought through.
The Mora Eldris is a perfect knife for sharpening your wood carving skills at night near the campfire, or to use for food prep. It's also a great knife to help young individuals get acquainted with outdoor knives.
