This **Müller Biber Dynam-ax 2500g dynamic splitting axe** has a well-thought-out design. The head is attached to the handle with a screw, creating a little bit of leeway. Sound like a bad idea, especially for an axe, but for this Dynam-ax it makes sure the blows are absorbed. The head namely also contains a rubber layer, that reduces the vibrations. As such you relieve your joints with this axe. 

## Traditionally forged

The Dynam-Ax has a traditional axe shape, typical for Hammerwerk Müller. The head is also traditionally forged by hand. But as you can see this isn't a traditional axe. The edge is broad to make sure you have a large cutting surface. The head is also enhanced with a type of built-in wedge (the non-coloured part), to make sure the wood is pushed apart during every blow. The handle is made from American hickory wood.
