The wellknown Chameleon-torch with 440 lumens. Now sold in a set with a charger and remote switch.
NiteCore has made very handy packages with the torches in their Chameleon-series. Besides the CU6-torch, you find the NiteCore I2 charger, a remote switch, sheath, lanyard and battery. An ideal set for nightly tours.
The NiteCore CU6
The NiteCore CU6 has access to several LED's with different colours. The CU6 has two main colours, white and UV. Little LED's on the side of the torch can also provide green, red and blue light. The normal white LED has a maximum light output of 440 lumens. The UV light is perfectly suitable for nightly use.
Of course, the torch can also be used as an LED-torch. The Chameleon has access to four light modes, a strobe-, an SOS- and a beacon mode. The tactical switch also has a momentary-on mode, half pressing the switch suffices to turn the torch on momentarily. the different light modes are chosen with a switch at the back of the lamp head. A small, blue LED is hidden inside the switch, and gives information about the charge of the battery.
The NiteCore Chameleon works on 2 CR123A-batteries or an 18650-battery (Button Top).
The NiteCore Intetellicharge I2
The NiteCore Intellicharge I2 is a universal and automatic battery charger for basically all types of rechargeable batteries. This makes all other chargers redundant. The I2 automatically detect battery types such as Li-ion, Ni-MH and Ni-Cd to tune the charge to the battery type.. Each battery is individually charged by the NiteCore I2.
A green LED on the battery charger will keep you posted on the progress of the charging. Is the battery-icon fully lighted? Then you can take the battery out of the charger.
The NiteCore I2 comes with a 12V-adapter, so you can also use it in the car.
The charger is compatible with the following Li-Ion-batteries: 26650, 22650, 18650, 17670, 18490, 17500, 16340, 16340 (RCR123), 14500 and 10440. The I2 also charges the following Ni-Mh/Ni-CD-batteries:
AA, AAA and C.
The Chameleon-set also features a practical remote switch. You can use this to operate the torch when it is mounted on a rifle or airsoft gun.
5 light modes, strobe, SOS and beacon mode (regularly gives a short light pulse):
