 The **Ontario Carter Prime** is a sturdy and well-executed pocket knife of excellent quality. The D2 tool steel blade is super sharp, but not entirely stainless. However, the matte black coating helps with corrosion resistance and gives the knife a tough look. The ridges on the top of the blade are in just the right place for your thumb for additional grip. This gives you more control over the knife. 


You can quickly open the knife with the flipper. The blade quickly flies out of the handle, and is locked in place by the frame lock with a satisfying click. The Ontario Carter Prime's handle is made of titanium, and its hilt is made up of two 4 mm thick titanium scales and a thick backspacer. The workmanship is very good. You can't feel any difference between the scales and the backspacer. 


The pocket clip, milled out of one block of titanium, is a nice detail. It allows you to carry the knife around in your pocket. The Ontario Carter Prime is an ideal pocket knife for daily use. Sturdy, ergonomic, no bells or whistles.
