The **Pohl Force Tactical Nine** is a robust survival knife made for professional use, designed by Dietmar Pohl. The Tactical Nine was inspired by the Pohl Force MK-9. Designed for the Last Blood film, the final instalment of the five-part series about former Green Beret soldier John Rambo.

The Tactical Nine is more compact. The knife is no less than 200 grams lighter than the MK-9 and the blade is 3 cm shorter. This makes the Tactical Nine a little more user-friendly and more comfortable to carry. The full-tang blade is made from D2 steel. This is a tough steel with good sharpness retention. Very good, even! However, do make sure to clean it after peeling an apple: D2 is not completely stainless. The handle is made from sturdy G10. The G10 handle has facets that provide extra grip. The finger groove at the start of the blade gives you the option of holding the knife a little closer to the edge for tasks that require greater precision.

The handle is constructed with the 'hollow' screws that are such a recognizable feature of Pohl Force's work. You can easily tighten these with a coin, so you don't need any special tools out in the field. The holes in the screws also allow you to pull a piece of paracord through. You can then turn your knife into a spear, for instance.

The sheath is made from robust and lightweight kydex. You can carry the knife on your belt with the nylon belt loop. The sheath also has an elastic leg strap that you can tie around your leg. This prevents the sheath from hanging loosely from your belt and swinging back and forth while you are walking or climbing.
