Full description
This Sakai Takayuki santoku knife is characterized by its beautiful damask steel blade. The santoku (Japanese chef's knife) has 45 layers of hammered damask and a hard core of Swedish steel. The hammered top of the Santoku knife prevents food from sticking to the blade.
The handle of the Sakai Takayuki is made in a traditional Japanese manner. The light wood sets off stylishly against the dark crop, this is a very special look. The knife has a classic Japanese edge, which means it is razor sharp when you take it out of the box. True Japanese quality becomes accessible to all, through this knife.
