The Spyderco Baby Horn Sprint Run is a very limited edition of a rare Spyderco pocket knife. This knife is originally designed by Jess Horn. This relatively unknown knife maker was partially responsible for the fact that in the seventies Spyderco founder Sal Glesser started making knives.
Knife maker Jess Horn was known for his excellent craftsmanship and eye for detail. He made customs knives like no other. In the nineties Spyderco started its first cooperation with custom knife makers. Of course the Horn knives were also favoured. In the end the Baby Horn was produced as a limited edition knife in the nineties. Today this Baby Horn Sprint Run is a contemporary interpretation of that stunning design.
The Spyderco Baby Horn is a small and compact gentleman’s knife. You can easily open the knife with one hand by using the thumb hole. When opened the backlock firmly keeps the blade in place. The blade is made from VG10 steel. Striking is the thin tip and the thin grind. The perfect pocket knife to peel an apple.
Because this is a limited edition knife the same applies: get it while it’s hot, while stocks last.
